The stakeholders of the Danish Folkeskole agree on continuing the development of the Folkeskole together. In the booklet “How we move on” pupils, parents, teachers and leaders describe how we can continue working with the current challenges of the school.

The purpose of this report from the Danish Union of Teachers is to make a few proposals on how specifically to follow up on some of the problem fields indicated by international surveys and comparisons. For this purpose, we present a number of recommendations. The recommendations involve all responsible parties in the Danish Folkeskole: the local authorities, school leaders, students, parents and the teachers.
